Protein is essential for structural health and effective functioning of our cells. There are about 20 ammino acids (building blocks) which are used to build between 80 to 400,000 different kinds of proteins that the body requires every single day.

For the body to absorb protein from food, it needs to break it down into short chain amino acids. Foods that can be entirely broken down and utilized have a score of 1 on a protein absorbable index.

As Indians unfortunately, our ability to build and retain muscle is very low because our diet doesn’t contain the right balance of amino acids.
